Rebecca how do u think p6 uk was this time? how much could u do?
July 26, 2015 at 6:56 pm #262354I really doubt the date issue has anything to do with pass or fail. I just cannot see that ACCA sorts though every paper to deliberately input ‘pass’ on to ESR on the 10th and ‘fail’ on the 13th….or any of the other dates that they are uploaded.
There is still hope for us all u til the 1st and for those that fail, they will not be alone (on average 60% of us will be in this category).
I find myself feeling bad for Gabriel as I really hope with all my heart that she passesJuly 26, 2015 at 6:57 pm #262355@sssihl said:
@gabriel.. Working full time and studying is really hard but not impossible.. If i was you then i would prefer to fail p7 and pass p4.. But looking into ur history and marks i m sure u will definately make it..@sssihl thanks for the encouraging words. Really means a lot to me. I want to get married soon so that contributes to my burning desire to get done with ACCA. Where are you from?

Despite of such good history and marks why did u loose interest.. People are struggling for years ..u should b proud of urself and be able to finish it dear
July 26, 2015 at 6:58 pm #262358@gabreil, mate with those pass marks you have nothing to be ashamed of if you have a resit. It’s the same any culture your looked down at a bit if you fail… It happens it’s getting back up again and giving it another go, trying harder that’s what really makes you…
I’ve never had a pass mark over 59%

@Gabriel – I don’t believe results have anything to do with your ERS date whatsoever. And access to the grey/white page on the link – who knows what it means. Others have said before they could only access a couple of days before results day, maybe you will access it tomorrow or the next? Maybe the link means absolutely nothing so doesn’t matter anyway!
@gemini89 – I thought P6 was quite difficult, seemed a bit different to the past papers tbh. However, I completed all of the paper, i.e. I wrote something for every question, even if I had no idea/not sure. How did you find it?

People are struggling for years ..u should b proud of urself and be able to finish it dearTowards July 2014, I was doing P2 and reading those IFRS with so much difficult language and boring rules like financial instruments and P1 with boring theory of remunation committees and risk committees. I felt it was getting too much and too long. To be honest, I hoped ACCA would qualify people at F9 level, but that is a fantasy only that would never happen lol
My focus in life changed towards this time, and I started doubting whether I am really meant for ACCA and accounting and auditing. I guess I overworked and wasted myself at the F level
July 26, 2015 at 7:04 pm #262362July 26, 2015 at 7:06 pm #262363@david thanks for the encouraging words. It would be really unfortunate if I had to re-sit but I guess that will be a challenge in life that I will need to encounter as I have no qualification at all at the moment

I’m technically 6 marks short of affiliate status plus I passed the p4 mock… That’s got to be worth something?

@Gabriel .. Lol.,
Even i think Acca haa lost its charm over the years.
When i register i had to pay for exemption fee and intial fee and now they are waiving off.. So many students in uk are doing acca for visa stuffs, just to stay in the uk.. Which is unprofessional and how hard u try until and unless you know some one its so hard to get in the accountancy firm here in uk if u r from asian background..so whats the use of studying so hard and earning acca degree?July 26, 2015 at 7:09 pm #262366@rebecca2 said:

I did P6 as well and i do think it was different from last sitting and more difficult. I managed to do 93 marks which isn’t that bad! I think you should have a good chance of passing if you did 100% especially as a lot of people found it difficult and maybe marking maybe more lenient! Have you looked at the published answers? If so, what is your prediction?
Lets hope we all pass as P6 is a paper i do not want to study for again!

@abdul had to sit his P7 exam 3 times till a pass I think
@kibalka had to do P5 4 times and then pass.I hope we clear this time

I can’t even remember much from P6 now, so to resit will be tiresome! Like I said though, for some questions I had no idea so basically guessed. I haven’t looked at the answers, have you? I hope we all pass, think we’ve all had enough of the ACCA journey now!

Anyways, wishing all my friends here good luck for the forthcoming results. I will be away for the week until Friday as I report to work tomorrow and during work I don’t want to stress myself with results so see you guys on Friday. Goodbye till then
