Section got:
1) Early settlement discount, working capital days with comment on working capital finance of company, the risk, long term and short tem cost.
2) NPV.
Section B was hard/confusing for me.
The Exam was Okay but
Q1 APV
Q2 Ratios
Q3 mergers and Acquisitions
I just was too slow i didn’t attempt majority of Q3 and it might the the one that could have helped me get over the line I am very sad everytime i do Question1 it takes too much of my time because ill be trying to do things right and read the scenario properly I do highlight key things but end up reading again for the written part and im naturally slow typer ;( this could have been an opportunity to get over the line this time
Section A and B was the hardest questions I’ve done so far. Was it just really difficult for me? Section C was really good but only 6 marks for NPV. And then got Working Capital Management
Got a lovely section C question, cash flow, I’d be astounded if I’ve not got 16+ marks especially as the questions after wee super easy too, working capital cycle and strategies
Second one was npv and ROCE which came up like 4 times in my exam. Section b and A were OK but I think the cash flow question should see me over the line
Section C was fine, but Sections A and B were difficult and very time?consuming
Section c I got NPV and working capital. The NPV threw me with the first year full expense allowance and the balancing allowance.
