    PLEASE RESPOND TO ACCA FEEDBACK FORM EXPLAINING THESE CONCERNS.

    I sat the afternoon paper. I’m unsure if they always change the questions between AM/PM but I don’t see how it’s ethical or fair. It makes comparison or marks and marking inconsistent.

    I totally agree with all the comments, so in a way it’s reassured me that I’m not alone.

    The examiners reports were always focused on the need to be relevant to the scenario, however it was very difficult to get enough relevant points from the scenario and I believe this is because they’ve tried to make so many questions fit.

    We were taught to read the scenario and see which question it would fit into. So I was desperately trying to see where the stakeholders would slot into my answers, but clearly this was aimed at the morning paper! It lead to me reading my questions numerous times and thinking of different ways to interpret them.

    I understood and knew well about all the model in textbook but not applied well in the exam.

    That SBL is really make me confusing and lost.

    Do I need to discuss if YBC is in public sector in Task1?

    Model/ Theory is not essential and does not carry any marks.
    It just help to give you some idea and structure your answer.

    When I studied more and more about the model in textbook, I did worse and worse in the exam…

    compare to the past paper, this YBC question and exhibit are not very long.
    However, I took so much time on understanding instead of reading…

    @avnish92

    I got an email from ACCA with a link to complete the feedback survey.

    Each link is unique to you so I can’t really send it on for you.

    @Raverlee

    Totally agree. I spent too much time trying to make sense of the exhibits rather than applying them like previous papers. Trying to make them fit into some of the answers.

    100% – we were taught to look at the exhibits and fit them into your answers and that they always tell you something for a reason.

    The fact they’ve set two sets of questions against the same case study shows why the above approach is flawed.

    With previous ACCA SBL papers (specimen/past /practice papers) there was always a logical flow of information that you could then apply to one or multiple of your answers.

    Examiners articles always focus on the need to relate to the case – there was nowhere near enough information in the case for some of the questions. We were told to avoid generic points … but some cases you had no option but to be generic.

    I dont agree with that i think the best leadership according to the exhibit should be contingent leader as contingent leader is able to adapt to the changing situation

    I understand that ACCA have to test students but why provide all so much information if it’s not to be used. Also a leader will need to be aware of some information in order to make a decision. I mean if a lot of students are thinking the same thing then there must be some truth to it 🙂

    I also had technical issues as my screen froze in the last 15 mins and I was not allowed to write anything, move and exhibits and the assistance/help did not respond to me at all.

    To guys who re-wrote the exam yesterday – 14 June 2022.
    I had same issue as some of you with technical difficulties.
    I have applied for mitigating circumstances. I believe you should also apply, I believe that no one should be penalised because of system failures. Thanks

    @olizia – it was mentioned once in the ‘overview’ section.

    Unlike other papers you weren’t changing roles from one question to the next, in this paper you were the management consultant throughout all questions.

    Hope this helps ?
