58% passed first time and now an Affiliate!!! Thank you Lord and Open Tuition for all the support over the past 2 and a half years. I started this journey in January 2020 at level 1 and I self-studied using Open Tuition for all 13 exams and I managed to pass them all first time. Prior to January 2020, I didn’t know the difference between a debit and credit entry because I never did accounting in school and I made a decision to learn and pursue ACCA despite hearing all the stories about how hard it would be and that I needed to attended classes in order to stand a chance. I found out about this amazing website and after doing my first exam in February 2020, I became confident in the lectures and notes available here and I didn’t look back from that point! To all of you who didn’t pass or you still on the journey, please don’t give up and don’t listen to the negatives because if I could do it then so can you! You already in a great position to succeed just by being on Open Tuition so just watch the lectures, read the notes and get yourself a practice kit and you will do it too!

Passed with 66 and became an affiliate
Thanks to opentution for helping me over the years.53%… it is done. Finally an affiliate! 5 years of my life revolving around this qualification… whether its for a trip back to my home country, going out to have some fun with my friends, spending some leisure time… all of these and many many more revolving around ACCA, the study schedule and the exam dates.. I haven’t realised what has happened yet… I just have no words…
To those that failed, don’t give up. I also failed exams. I failed PM with 44% and ATX with 38%, and the latter hurt A LOT cause I studied 6 months and I got 38% but then I managed to pass on the second attempt. Take one or two days off to relax and then get back on it! You can do this!
Took AFM and SBL together (studied 3 months) and passed both!

AFM – 68So delighted with this sitting and thankfully have yet to fail any exams so far (fingers crossed). 2 left to go! Congrats to all newly minted Affiliates – well deserved!

Failed AFM again 3rd time 🙁 it’s just so hard to juggle revision and working full time with a new baby, any tips on how to manage time in the evenings? I’m only a few marks off, but I hope with the extra professional marks in September I should pass next time fingers crossed!
Failed 46 marks, the exam screen was frozen for 20 minutes… they restored my screen and gave only 10 min to complete. I think I would have passed if not technical issue from Acca side and I got my 20 minutes lost back 🙁
I failed with 40%, it is my first failure since I commenced attempting ACCA exams, But I know where I went wrong. time management. I hope I will make next time. I am going to start revising. Any advise is welcomed.
I failed 25% worst exam result ever. Though I am working full time , and spent 6 weeks in the evening so not enough time and practice.
Had two days to study the whole syllabus, really thought I was going to fail but I think they felt sorry for me and gave me a 50 haha
Got 55%. First attempt. Had left 12-15 marks question. Glad I got through this in first attempt. Moffat John is a Star!!
Two more exams left!Time management was really an issue in this exam. The answers required so much to write. I guess just practise and time it to see how well you can manage.
If you failed, take heart. I once failed an exam twice (AAA), it’s annoying but don’t lose hope you’re close to the end line if you’re taking AFM.
Just want to say thank you to open tuition l, I’m qualified now and have never used any professional lectures and barely any study kits either other than past papers and these lectures here. You have helped me throughout my career by making work digestible and clear. I urge us all to donate to opt tuition if there is an avenue to do so to allow others to continue on.

I failed AFM in 2019 with 32%. Failed twice in 2020 with 36% and 34% respectively. I got severely depressed, demotivated and decided to quit ACCA entirely.
After opening up to close friends and family, I decided to put my blood and sweat into the June 2022 sitting and I had divine confidence that I was going to pass and indeed I passed with 57%.
It’s easy for people to say don’t give up when they haven’t experienced what multiple failure is.
But after going through that phase in my life, I can boldly say DO NOT GIVE UP.Fight to the finish.
