    How is everyone’s preparation going?
Any topics that people find extremely hard?

I don’t think it’s a technically difficult subject, I am just concerned that I am either:

Not going to go into enough detail when answering questions
    – or –
Go into that much detail I miss the broader point.

I’d feel more confident about the exam if the pass rates weren’t so low!

Exactly subject isn’t that difficult but the detailing is difficult to asses.

Also I’m still struggling on audit risks I am never able to get all the risks and responses

    Any tips?

I have just been practising the exam kit none-stop for these. It seems that almost all of the sentences are an audit risk, it is knowing how to apply the relevant wording overstatement/understatement/misstatement then provide a sensible resolution that the auditor would undertake to correct the issue

I feel exactly the same. Sometimes the details entered seems enough, sometimes not.
Also with Substantive procedures, I am able to collect in my mind what should be written, but the actual writing details is too small or too great.
But despite that I am hopeful and confident that it will work out just fine for everyone.
Good luck. Looking forward to seeing everyone discussing the paper on the 3rd.

I feel a bit depressed with this exam. I do not know what to expect. Agree. If the pass rate was not so low, I would feel much better.
