It is clear from the chart that Line A is the revenue line (because it passes through the origin); Line C is the fixed costs; and Line B is the total costs.

Breakeven is where total revenue = total costs (so zero profit or loss) and is where the revenue line crosses the total cost line.

My free lectures on CVP analysis will help you.

It is too late to spend more time revising – more important is to get a good sleep! (If you are tired then you are much more likely to make silly mistakes or to misread the questions)

Just make sure that you do hand in an answer to all of the MCQ’s (even if they are guesses – some of your guesses are certain to end up being correct).

And make sure you do something for every part of every question in Section C. You won’t finish every part – either you will be short of time or you will be stuck – but do something. You will get more marks by part-finishing every part of every question than you would by completely finishing some parts but doing nothing for other parts.
For the calculation parts in Section C, make sure that your workings are neat enough for the marker to follow – the marks are for the workings, not for the final answer.

I hope that all goes well for you tomorrow 🙂

Haha sleep. That hardly ever happens as important as it is.

I prefer to try to get 6 hours of sleep(often end up getting 4 or 3), wake up at 6 and then try and warm my brain up by reviewing the 3 mock tests I did on the kit.

I do this in a very relaxed way of course so I dont tire myself.

I then have 2 cups of tea, a lot of sugar and some chocolate to get some food for my brain.

The tea, the sugar, and the chocolate are fine.

I am not sure that reviewing 3 mock tests is exactly the best way of warming up in the morning 🙂

Well its worked for me so far aha. Never scored a mark below 63 and before then 73.

I do feel just looking over the questions and just getting the basic stuff into my head helps me. Since almost everything about exams are on personal preference you never quite know aha

    Thanks for your help John!

Ive loved it. In fact Ive been so impressed that I am very strongly considering taking my papers F9 onwards completely with OpenTuition.
I`ve already started studying F7 and 8 at a local college so yeah.

    Thanks again!

I think that there is an error in june 2016 answers relating to question 5 part b. the labour rate planning variance should in fact be 10360F instead of 10360A on the answers. am I right?

No – it should be adverse (because the question says that they should take 15 minutes longer).
