Sir I hope you are doing very well. Can u please tell me how the calculations have been done in this question? It seems so simple but i really dont understand how the calculations have been done.
And also in ratio questions i want to know what exactly examiners is asking when he asks for maximizing shareholders wealth because sometimes he does specifilcy ask for some specific ratios and sometimes he leaves on candidate to guess:P how to know what exactly he is asking. Thank you 🙂

The main measure of shareholders wealth is the market value of the shares, and this is what you would look at unless the examiner specified for you to look at some other measure.
