In the case as stated:
Goodwill of $10m is recognised in the group SFP , having arisen on several business combinations over the last few years?
Sir can explain to me what it means? Thanks 🙂
‘Goodwill of $10m is recognised in the group SFP , having arisen on several business combinations over the last few years?’
Really?
Over the last few years the parent has made a succession of acquisitions and, on the events of those acquisitions, goodwill has arisen.
That goodwill is accumulated and shown of the group statement of financial position as an intangible non-current asset
The accumulated value of this goodwill in so far as it has not been impaired is $10,000,000
Do you need any more?
Thanks Sir 🙂
You’re welcome
