Many thanks to you rosa, your point further reinforce what’s been said. I saw apply for membership & cpd link, no rows found for exam entry, email@ members now. I belief it’s something good coming.

yes, I can’t see progress to membership and I can’t see “PER” (I have already completed 9+4 PERs, but I was always able to update more optional if I wished. Now I can’t. )That’s strange I as can no longer see progress to membership but can still access my Experience Record (left hand side of my ACCA homepage). However, this is maybe because I’m only on 35 of 36 months but have done 13 objectives, so PER is incomplete.

If you do, why let these ‘ signs ‘ bothering you. These signs could just be false alarm. I don’t think ACCA should be dropping hints to final paper candidate in such a manner.
August 6, 2013 at 7:12 am #135093Tyc7700, while agree people shouldn’t worry about results yet be released, I can also relate to their concerns. Given the fact that this sort of thing has happened in the past , acca attest to that too, if one is still getting “you do not have permission to view this page” on affliate link, still able to view your June exam entry, email from students@, it may be wise to start looking forward.
Nothing conclusive yet.
August 6, 2013 at 7:25 am #135095Guys relax… ACCA wasnt going to repeat mistakes of Dec 2012 so blatantly… i called our local office yesterday and they told me the ‘no rows’, email from ‘members@acca’ are not ways to tell whether you have passed or not. They even said there are non-finalists who see the ‘no rows’ thing….
My buddy who we sat with our last two papers in Dec 2012 didnt get the no rows but passed when the results came out… i however didnt get the no rows and failed… its a bit confusing so only way out is to wait

Hi Kibalka,
Thank you for sharing such important information. At last someone is here to shed some light rather than speculating on the ‘ signs ‘. If ACCA is to attest to such ‘ signs’ then they should be upfront with us from the very start so that candidates can get mentally prepared rather than waiting for the official result day.
Thank you and all the best for your results.
August 6, 2013 at 8:03 am #135101Tension at it peak.
Do you know some people have applied for membership already between when the affliate link was made available? I didn’t do it because the result wasn’t out yet but then I got the link at the time.
All of this won’t matter in few hours to come.

All the best guys.Hi Gabriel,
I agree with you that it won’t matter in a couple of days time. However, if there are some people who are able to apply membership now, ACCA (as a professional body) is giving me the impression that it is being ‘ sneaky ‘. Nevertheless, let me congratulate you in advance .

My only question is? Apart from the ‘isolated weekend’ leakage are there some people who are still receiving emails from members@…..?

Did you get “no rows found” in the exam entry page? If you get the old exam docket then it should imply that you are not a potential affliate i.e. you failed to complete your final papers.
This implication is based on the assumptions gathered here.
I hope the assumptions here are invalid but overall I feel that the “symptoms” provided by the hearsay evidence here is quite compelling. Don’t you agree?

yes, got “no rows”. and i hope you are right, but it’s to much assumption and guessing to really treat it seriously. i need facts.

It’s hard to relax when our results and membership is at stake. Alot of us depend on these results in hope for a better future and also a better career.
IMO mistakes can happen again over and over and over again. It was proven again that there was indeed an isolated leakage event last weekend iirc.
Usually the assurance provided by the local office is close to ‘useless’ if i may say so. The local office usually has no clue on what is actually going on in regards to operations.
ACCA operations are centralised and the local offices are usually just marketing offices without any empowerment.
So to believe in what the local offices ‘say’ is really irrational at best. The explanations provided by these local offices are usually standard ‘crisis management’ answers.
I really do hope that your last statement with regards to the ‘no rows found’ is true and not just an error in memory.
Otherwise I am more than certain that our fates are sealed for the last exam sitting.

Hi,
I suggest you check with ACCA UK directly to give you a peace of mind.
Hopefully they can give you some satisfactory answers.
August 6, 2013 at 9:24 am #135113The blame squarely lies with ACCA who didn’t seem to learn for the 2012 Dec Exams results fiasco. To call the weekend leakage ‘isolated cases’ is an abuse to peoples intelligence. What measures are they putting in place to prevent the recurrent of such a scenario and win the confidence of its customers. What ‘other leakages’ don’t we know of and are not reported in the media? As much as they preach professionalism they should be ready to drink from the same cup too.

I did write to them for the previous leakage event. Their reply came after the results were out. Ironic or helpful? Peace of mind? Lol…
August 6, 2013 at 9:30 am #135115Forgot to add…the process can only seen to be credible from setting of questions to sitting of exams and finally to the release of the results. If there is a loophole in one of the processes, the credibility is at stake.
August 6, 2013 at 9:41 am #135116I am a finalist. During the weekend I was able to log into the affiliate page, see the apply for membership button, see the learning opportunities links, see the LEARNING PARTNERSHIPS AND GLOBAL ACCOUNTANCY PARTNERSHIPS link as well as the CPD link. In addition to this when I click on exam entry, my June exam docket does not pop up, instead I get the following “no rows found”. In February i personally failed to pass two papers and I did not experience anything like this. Whenever I cliked on exam entry, my December exam docket kept on appearing until the last day and I was not able to log into the affiliate page at all.
Even though I cannot get into the affiliate page any more, I get the following if i follow this procedure
1.0 Log into myACCA as usual.
2.0 While still logged into my ACCA click on this link https://portal.accaglobal.com/portal/page/portal/ACCA_PORTAL_PAGES/ACCA_AFFILIATES
3.0 Ignore the error and Click on “contact us”.
4.0 Click on “Update your contact and employment details”
Once if follow this procedure I get the following message: “Any changes made by a member, affiliate or firm to their record will not be taken as notification to ACCA of any matters which would render a member, affiliate or firm liable to disciplinary action…….”August 6, 2013 at 9:50 am #135117AnonymousInactive- Topics: 0

Congrats to many others whom also show the following ‘symptoms’:-
1. password reset from members@accaglobal.com and not students@accaglobal.com
2. able to enter the affliate page when the link was still working i.e. until ACCA blocked it.
3. ‘no rows found’ in regular exam entry using myacca and not the old exam docketUnfortunately for the rest of us; take some time to grieve, cry, mourn, get depress and move on. 🙁
August 6, 2013 at 10:01 am #135118Guys I am slightly worried now.
I came across these leakage and links yesterday and since then I tried to click on them and it says object error.
I am in the UK, my acca is all same except the results page which is all white.
My old exam docket is still showing.
I don’t know what to think, lot of people say they had these and still passed but reading above posts have depressed me to be honest.
Do you think there is any chance? I thought the exams went well in June.
Thanks
