Hi, I have no idea with regards to the cost of acquisition was calculated to be 276 in the ACCA’s Answer Scheme for Stem’s Goodwill Calculation. June 2011 Question. How was this figure deduced? thanks a lot.

Isn’t it the dinar equivalent of the Rose cost of investment in Stem?
Cost in dollars was $46m, rate of exchange of the dinar to the dollar at date of acquisition was 6 dinars to $1.
$46m = 276 million dinars
