Good day Sir, please how did they arrive at Market value of equity =30million
They do not have the market value of equity at 30M !!!!!
The nominal value of the equity is $15M (from the SOFP in the question).
They are $0.50 shares, and therefore the number of shares is 15/0.5 = 30M
The market value per share (from the question) is $4.20.
So the total market value of the equity is 30M x $4.20.
Thanks
You are welcome 🙂
