the posibility for negative cash flow at the end of period 2 is 20 %, it only happen when cash flow in period 2 is -9000, hence its posibility is 20%

Hi everyone,a friend has found a link on the ACCA website which offers an examination feedback form on specific papers. If you feel that the paper was unjust and the examiners language unnecessarily complicated please complete the form. The examination board use these feedback forms when setting marking schemes, before exam results are published. it could result in a few extra marks if the board agrees – so definitely worthwhile.

i think ACCA is gradually becoming some thing else. paper format changed completely as compared to previous ones.
if i have above 50% i think offering a mass will be the best option. examiners please have a rethink on what you have done this sesion

Does anyone know the answer to the middle section of question 4?

Can we complain about the exam to ACCA?

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, WHY SHOULD BE ALLOW THE EXAMINER TO TREAT US IN AN UNFAIR WAY???? LET’S ALL EMAIL TO ACCA AND COMPLAIN ABOUT F9 EXAM. IF THEY SEE MANY COMPLAINTS, THEY WILL HAVE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT!!!!

QUESTION 1 ON PROBABILITY ANALYSIS: IF YOU CHECK THE BPP TEXTBOOK, YOU WILL FIND 2 SHORT PARAGRAPHS ON THIS SUBJECT AND ONE VERY SIMPLE EXAMPLE, THAT’S IT!!!!! I DIDN’T STUDY F5, I DON’T KNOW WHAT’S IN THAT SYLLABUS, I WAS EXEMPTED. WAS I SUPPOSED TO READ EXAMINER’S MIND? AND SOMEHOW ASSUME THAT SOMETHING THAT IS JUST MENTIONED IN THE TEXTBOOK WILL BE EXAMINED EXTENSIVELY?????????????????/

    what a surprise!
Here is some of my answers, please feel free to comment.
Q1, use the cash flow multiple the %, easy to get the results( I think it was a positive)
then use the 8000 combine with the outcome in question 2 which I had three results( I think 2 positive and the last one is -$4000000.

Q2, cannot remeber the IRR now. the WACC I got was about 24%, and interest rate coverage is 3.6 times.
the alternative investment option is discounted bond, original shares, rights shares, and venture capital.

    Q3, Errors-
1, didnt take the inflation into account
2, sale and variable cost did not take the inflated rate
3, capitalised cost should include depreciation, developmt cost and finanicing cost
4, the fixed cost should be included also it’s recovered
    5, –cannot remember now

the npv is a positive I remember

    Q4, I think is easy,
the capital gain and dividend an be easily calculated by using the formulae,
the dividend price in after apply the new policy up to 2010 should be $4, which g = 0
after 2010 g= what ever the rate in the question (cant remember now) –didnt get this one right

the three definition is easy enough to explain.

I Did , so glad someone have the same doubts. I think both development cost and investment financing should be included if the project would be undertaken as both costs should be capitalised.
