[polldaddy poll="3308625"]i atteded F8 INT today. It is not very hard. Everything is right under control. Inventory count. risk , Bank sub test , going concern, Very typical…Hope i can pass safely
i make a mistake in the exam the CRS have 10 boxes to tick 1 to 5 instead of tick i blacken will it influence my results??
I thought it was very manageable! Looks like the new examiner decided to make it quite fair. Lots of control testing was involved though. I reckon I passed.

i also atteded F8 INT today. Questions are not very hard, the new examiner decided to make it quite fair. But i made a lot mistakes… Quite disappointed! Hope i can pass safely!

done my best 3 hrs of writing was very tiring but wasn’t too bad
Pape was easy except 20 marks in question 1
can any one confirm me that in question 3 last part (bank balance confirmation) i had written the procedure that auditor will write letter, signed by manager etc
is it ok? or i made a big blonder :-s
and one more. in last question (c) it was question to write procedure that company is going concer or not. i had written the problem with company and it was not going concern instead of procedured (even i dont know what procedure the examiner was asking)

Last Question(C) PART –
I think we have to say about de modified n also an unmodified opinion… since de directors agreed to disclose it in de f/s 🙂modified with Excpt for para … 🙂

Things tat make me angry is actually the invigilator saw me doing tat because i’m doing at the last minutes when have to pass up..
To Handsome tat time is it also on screen marking ? audit report i put emphasis of matter since director make disclosure

The proceedures dat auditor might take to c if the company is gng cncr or not.
Analytical proceedures , talkin’ to de bank , talkin’ to de management , analysin’ bank o/d etc etc is de ans i guess @least dats wat i wrote but a bit xplained 🙂

i wrote that if the disclosur has been made, we will put an emphasis
if it is nt disclosed, v will qualify or gv advers opinion dpnding on the materiality and pervaisivness!

the paper ws vry easy i guess, esp the 60 marks of q3,4,5!
This was mine 2nd attempt to F8.. but today paper was relatively easy or lengthy if i’m not wrong…
in Q4. examiner is asking state threat with 1 example of every threat and only 5 marks at all???
anyways… leave the F8 now tomorrow is F9..

Not a bad paper, was easy to score marks on, i think i did enough to pass.
Regarding the final question 5 d, i put that the report should be adverse because the company has only put in a going concern disclosure (which says that the company IS a going concern) but per the question the auditor had material uncertainty to believe it wasnt a going concern, therefore this is both material and pervasive which means the auditor should issue an adverse audit report.
Anyone agree or am I looking forward to a big FAIL? lol.

for the last question since the f/s going concern disclosure was made , no effect on audit opinion but since its material , Emphasis of matter paragraph
as for the inventory procedures, those relate to the control during inventory count and not on the system
