This is quite serious, i would contact the acca immediately and inform them as they made need to do a special procedure. Answers are scanned so it is vital they were in black. Sorry.

not serious at all! says do front page in black as this is computer read, answers should be written in blue or black,

I was a nervous wreck but a couple of things.
    1. How much can a man write per question in 18 minutes???? and all parts of the one question. I have not written so much and I was feeling “ooh I should have mentioned this but look at the time….moving on..” My word it was alot to write that my hand hurt.
    2. The scenarios questions 8 & 10 were indeed tricky. Hoping for a miracle there but overall I believe it was handled good.
    DON’T PROVE ME WRONG ACCA!!!

tell me what how should we solve the last three Questons. i mean some people say that only write what is asks from you . like if it requires you to tell that whether the partner was liable for his THAT ACT or not?? so should we write WHOLE liabilties of partner or just write that yes he was liable for that act becz that act was the breach of a PARTICULAR DUTY.. DO reply on that should we write whole damn topic in the answer of just write what he askd.

Q1,2,3,4,5,6,7 were quite simple as they were straight forward questions. For those who read those parts and remembered them well in the exam hall, they will serve as easy marks. I had problem with question 4 though cuz partnership and company law were actually difficult for me to digest whille reading.
Q8, though a scenario question was easy I think, if it was actually about consideration.
Q9 was about implied authority of partners while Q10 was just confusing.
Looking at the paper generally, I think it was fair enough for a well prepared student.

Ooops. I spoke about promissory estoppel in question 8! I basically argued that PE applied because she had gone back on her promise to pay. However because PE is a shield not a sword, neither had a case, but the 2nd guy had more of a case because she wasn’t offering it to him under duress.

for MYS F4, the last question was on Capital Maintenance and Dividend Law. some parts of the question were beyond syllabus (?) examiner asked “can holding company utilise subsidiary co’s profit to distribute dividend?” “if in the next year holding co makes profit, can holding co. distribute dividend without writing off previous loss?” “can holding co. distribute dividend using share premium?”

i could not find answers for these questions in BPP textbook. juz hope the marker can understand my arguments and give me some marks

I think it was on alteration of articles, because if the take over bid was bonafide in favour of the company as a whole and as well individuals.
