Sir in JJG co question, I did not understand that how they have calculated return on shareholder’s fund, market value of equity and DPS. Can you please explain me
Which bit of the calculations do you not understand? There is not much point in me copying out the examiners answer for you, and all is covered in my free lectures.
I did not understand that how they calculated following
2008
Return on shareholders fund 29%
market value of equity 47.5m
DPS 40 cents
Return on shareholder funds = earnings/shareholders funds
MV of equity is number of shares x market value per share.
Dividend per share is total dividends / number of shares.
If you are not prepared to spend time watching my lectures, then you really cannot expect me to spend my time answering this sort of question.
