    Hi,

I don’t know what to do, I work for a platinum company. I completed my acct exams last year, and have submitted my PER essentials for review at the beginning of November last year. They are still to be looked at. I have chased my manager but it’s really getting me down now as I don’t know why it’s not being looked at. What do i do?

Sorry to hear. I was in a similar position. My manager just kept on coming up with excuses not to sign my be experience of. accaresults Only reason why she thought i was going to leave which i am!
    – Set up an hour meeting with your manager to sign of experience?
    – go above your manager and get your managers manager to sign of?
    – get someone within the group to sign of if working in a sub?
    – get an external acca member to sign off?
    – worst case re-write experience to get an old manager from a previous company to sign off?

    Hi Earl,
I know I am writing you on wrong forum but I could not find out any other place to contact you.

Here is my issues that bothering me; I am ACCA finalist who is waiting for result:

From my ACCA student account log in I can see exams tab is grayed (no access of certificate equivalency) and so as account administration.

I don’t want to try link theory as I was previously warned by ACCA due to entering a link via open tuition.

Can you plz share your experience when you pass what happen to your student account page; did u see any such thing ?
    Thank you

No one every penalised using link theory or Ebusiness, so if you really want to know before result then try Ebusiness on Thursday, not sure how ACCA directly warned only you about this, no one did anything wrong or any cyber attack, people just login to ACCA Ebusiness and try to anticipate result on the basis of whats showing on page.

    Hi Earl,

I was exactly in the same position is you and it took me 6 months to get it signed off. First of all, you need to know that your supervisor is the one who can approve it and it takes him a matter of seconds to approve each objective. So if you were to think about it, it is a 5 minutes job

You need to stand your ground and being nice and wish he/she approves it anytime sooner it just won’t help. Ask to have a meeting and be direct in your request. Ensure to communicate in writing where possible and highlight the importance of your performance objectives. Also, say it is affecting my work performance and say you are not being valued as a team member. Honestly, I handed my resignation and did all sort of things from lazying around, came late to work etc to get it signed off.

Another thing if you can get a different supervisor all together that would be even better as some people are just nasty nature and don’t want others to progress so check around in your firm and if you can get a different one just do it.

    Hope this helps
