Are we supposed to know the ISAs, my lecturer was like it wont be asked, i mean any standards like IAS 38
Sir, Aren’t u making any guess this time around??
You won’t be asked a question like “Describe ISA 38”. When answering questions you have to know what ISAs ‘say’ (they set out how audits should be performed) but there are now no marks given for mentioning the number and title of the ISA in an answer.
Remember ISA = auditing standard; IAS = accounting standard. Your query changes half way through and IAS 38 is an accounting standard on intangible assets.
No tips this time.
