Hello
Is it compulsory to memorize and mention ISA( the title and number) for exam purpose in December 2014?
Ex:
ISA 200: overall objectives of an independent auditor and conduct of an audit in accordance with international standards on audithing
Regards
There are now no marks for quoting ISA numbers, nor titles. Of course, you have to know the what they say about auditing as ISAs aly down the rules for ‘proper’ auditing.
Thanks a lot
this is not as such compulsory but u should know the standard requiremnts just for knowledge
NO! You have to know the standard requirements to succeed, not just for knowledge. You don’t have to know their numbers and titles. How to audit is not a matter of personal opinion: it is defined by the standards.
ok thanks ..if some one had wrote more than question requirement marks will be deducted..for example in going concern indicators 6 points were required I had wrote 11 points ?
There are no marks deducted for extra points made – however, no extra are awarded so you effectively waste time writing more than needed. That time could perhaps be better spent on another question.
ok thanks they will just check the first six required or they will have view on all??
