Hey:
I came across this question, which I thought was talking about financial assets, but the solution looks like its for financial liabilities. The question and solution are in the attachment. Can someone please confirm what the question is asking and whether the solution is correct or not?

Thanks!

Hey:I have read the attachment . the question is talking about the treatment of financial assets. as the company bought a loan, and decided to ”hold to maturity“. the treatment for this investment for maturity is right. but there are a few words that could make us get confused. such as ‘cash paid’, I think in this scenario using ‘cash received’ shall be more suitable.by the way, the amount of the asset value c/f for the year 20×5 in the table is wrong, it should be 48.60m.
