Forums › ACCA Forums › General ACCA Forums › is there any value of halfly completed Acca
Dear friends I’m imtiaz Meh from Pakistan, here i would like to know that is there any benefit of completing half of the course of Acca and then leaving in the middle.
? as in our country there is a course called CA if somebody completed it upto the module D and left E, F even though he is considered CA inter, and can get a good job.
so is there any such a categorization in ACCA upto that level a person could go, if he unable to complete the whole cousre, and that benefit the person in the marketplace.
plz do info me because i’m very concenred about this info, i want to start ACCA but i’m fearing of that i may unable to complete it,
As far as I’m concerned, not finishing ACCA won’t entitle you to the qualification as an ACCA member. I believe at work, people do look for workers who are qualified, but not half-qualified.
However, I do have a 40-year old uncle who didn’t manage to finish his CIMA exams, but the company did find him brilliant and employed him nonetheless, although he lives teetering on the edge when he meet with his clients, who knows anyone might pop a question confirming if he is fully qualified… so at 40 years old, he’s re-studying for his CIMA exam amid his busy work schedule.
Part qualified is recognised as CA inter, as we call in India as well. In ACCA if you complete up the skill level all 9 papers then you would get a certificate stating that you are awarded with advanced diploma in accounting and business, which to my belief is equivalent to inter CA of our country (intermediate who are not takeing final exams), although you will not be eligible to use ACCA as a tale to your name.
