If it’s not, why is it in the bpp study text. I’m so confused. I think it’s mentioned nowhere in the syllabus

It is covered in the notes.Chapter 3 page 9 covers this topic.It is definitely part of syllabus and has been examined in the past.You should also be aware that the notes are designed to be used in conjunction with lectures.
