I just have a month to study and I bought a BPP book which was sucha bad decision as it is so detailed that for one chapter it takes 3-4 days which is too much i only have a month is opentuition lectures and notes enough to get a good percentage
The free lectures and lecture notes cover everything needed to be able to pass Paper MA well (it is no longer called Paper F2).
However you must also buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers, because they contain lots of exam standard questions for practice. Practice is vital to passing the exam.
sir after going through the lectures and notes of opentuition i still find it difficult to answer the KIT questions? i just have 15 days
I suggests you get a textbook from a reputable publisher like BPP or Kaplan. As they update their textbooks, update as in the syllabus as well as error.
Opentuition is a good free “alternative” but should not be the sole source because their notes are very simplified and sometimes contain errors. Not sure if they even update their notes at all.
However, I do like their forum interaction.
Two things:
Firstly, as we make very clear, the notes should not be used without watching the lectures. The notes are only lecture notes and it is in the lectures that we explain and expand on the notes.
Secondly, of course the notes are updated! They are updated whenever the syllabus changes (as is the case this year with the addition of statistics) and whenever any typing errors are discovered.
I am pleased that you like the forum interaction (although your only previous interaction was over 5 years ago 🙂 )
