    Hi all,

I’m struggling to remember the formula, and just wanted to check it wasn’t given in exam anyhow?

    Any help, much appreciated.

Hi, yes it’s rather a long formulae – I know it’s tough but I’m afraid it isn’t provided in the exam formulae sheet for CIMA P1.
From what I can gather from students who have sat P1 objective tests -the questions they can remember on the area of linear programming don’t actually need the full formula to answer them – more an understanding or application of the forecasting method.
However, officially it’s on the syllabus so if you can try to memorise it then you definitely should. Perhaps try breaking it down into sections?
    Kind Regards,
    Cath

    Hi Cath,

    Thankyou for your reply.

I tried to remember it but luckily didn’t need it.

Passed the exam, was dreading it but ended up with higher marks than F1!

    Kind regards
