    Hello,

I’m about to start F5 – excited after doing F4! I’m wondering if the materials on here and the study text books are enough ? who is self studying and how is it going ? not sure I want to 500 for the college when I’ve many more papers to come thanks

From people who have written this exam, I am going for the one in March 2016. Is it possible to study without taking classroom tuition for the exam

Online and study should be enough. I done a classroom course on F5 and failed. Looking back at it, there was a fair chunk that was not covered correctly due to time constraints on the course. I have used Open Tuition this time for F5 and also F9. I have books also. Already I have a much better comprehension as John covers so many variables and hits detail exactly where needed.

Plus you get to study at your own pace…not when the classes dictate.

Hi Gonko – what books did you use on top of the Open tuition resources? Thanks, Abi

I did self study for F5 with OpenTuition and doing past papers. It really worked for me as I achieved my highest pass mark on this paper.

I want to start ACCA, but I am afraid to. These exams are very expensive and I cannot afford to fail and I have noticed that many have failed. The failure percentage has me procrastinating about attempting ACCA. Can anyone offer some advice on the best mode of study and how to stay motivated while studying? I am starting with F5 and possibly F7.

Best is to download our free Study Guides for those papers. They guide you through the studying with links to our free lectures and details of the best past exam questions to practice on.
