my Fundamental papers have not completed yet and I am planning to give f7 this december 2016 session,I was thinking to give p1 paper as well but i am not sure whether all f level papers must be completed first then we can give Professional papers like is it true or not?
Second Question is,are 3 months enough to prepare f7 paper ?
because Now it is september and i am planning to give it on december and i am self studying so i am kinda scared as this is my first time .
Moreover if we can give both p and f level papers, Can i take f7 and p1 for this december session or not ? because i have only 3 months to prepare and i am self studying it so,
I know its all up to me but I am so confused now,I am not sure what to do.i would really really appreciate your help.
so please i need your advice.
Thanking you in advance for your time and help
and I apologize for my bad EnglishSeptember 8, 2016 at 9:51 pm #339206Sara, is F7 your last F paper? If so, then yes, you can register for it along with another P paper.
If you still have other F papers left then the only way is to register (and pay) for all of them along with P1: not recommended.
I am not in a position to tell you if 3 months will be enough: it really depends on your efforts, the amount and quality of time you can dedicate to studying, your study method…
Having said that, 3 months should be enough for F7, in my opinion. I normally prepare 2 papers in the same amount of time.
P1 is a wordy paper and many students think it’s an easy one because it gives the impression that it can be passed with some common sense and by waffling… Not true! You still have to practise a lot of past questions to increase your chances of passing it.
My suggestion is: have a look at the material available here on OT, listen to some of the lectures and have a look at the notes.
That will give you an indication of the amount of effort and time required to prepare P1.Best of luck.
September 11, 2016 at 9:07 pm #339976Thank you so much @palmy for your valuable advice and guidance and for taking the time to share all of that great information with me.
Your advice and guidance have been extremely helpful.I really appreciate your time and your message has motivated and encouraged me a lot as i was totally blank and unsure what to do about my papers but your message has been so helpful to me.I will focus all my attention and time towards f7 and like you said i would not directly jump into p1 as i have other fundamental papers left as well.I will definitely look for all the notes, lectures, materials available in Open tuition as well as my own dedication towards the paper in order to plan my schedule and preparation for exam.
Thank you once again from the bottom of my heart for such a useful and quick advice.I absolutely love this website.you guys are doing wonderful job.
