So, this is my last f paper. I haven’t attempted it before, but I’m terrified! Mainly because of my poor time management. I cannot solve full 30 mark past paper qs in 54 minutes, it takes me around 1.5 hours! I’m literally panicking! Do note that I’ve just started practicing past papers, so it’s just the start. But does it get better or will it take me 1.5 hours forever (lol)?? What if I end up doing the workings for all three statements(usually 3 in 30 mark qs) and also prepare SFP and leave the rest to make time for other questions?
PS: I’m planning on practicing all 11 papers currently on accas website btw….
February 1, 2016 at 8:12 pm #298888No problem at all. I guess around 90% of students don’t finish all the questions within the three hours. Some will fail to complete question 1, others will fail to finish question 2 and there will be others that stumble over question 3
You WILL speed up the more you practice and the more repetitions you do of the basic moves – it’s like pretty much everything in life – it’s a learning curve. The more you do it, the easier it becomes and the quicker you get to reach your goal.
But, like a learning curve, there is a point that you will reach where it’s physically impossible to go any faster. Usain Bolt may go a fraction of a second faster, but it’s unlikely that anyone will break the 9 second barrier for a 100 meter race!
What you really MUST do is get on top of your admitted weakness of poor time management because, even if it doesn’t get you this time, it could bring you down badly in the P levels
And keep posting here when you hit a wall and don’t understand something

February 2, 2016 at 9:14 am #298952Yes, but can you see it being a three minute barrier – in your life time?
