    Hi
    I sat for P3 on Thursday. I was wandering if it is possible to study for P5 in 3 months and pass? if the answer is yes, what strategy should I employ?

    Not sure what you mean by ‘3 months’. Is it full-time study or are you working and can study only in the evenings and at weekends? It also depends on your own strengths eg at F5 and P3.

    It is not impossible!

    As for strategy, start now. You will see that there is considerable overlap between P3 and P5, there is no a huge amount new to learn, but the questions are very different. The emphasis is on performance measurement and management.

    Question practice is essential. Therefore, read a chapter from the lecture notes, listen to the accompanying lecture, then try a relevant question. Some relevant questions are suggested at the end of each lecture.

    Hi Ken
    My question is similar. I awaiting results for P4 however I made a lot of silly mistakes and also did not complete the paper. This was my second attempt at this paper and I am not sure the results would be favourable. My question is should I change to P5 and begin studying since by the time results come out I won’t have sufficient time to study for a new paper should I not pass P4.

    Hi Ken
    I am currently working and I can only study in the evenings and on weekends. I was good in F5 and my P3 knowledge is also good.

    @cmanja82: I suggest you give it a go.

    @sharlene17
    : Perhaps stay with P4 for one more attempt. It is a lot to give up. Also, I think it is difficult to study another topic with enthusiasm when you might have some hopes for the exam you have just attempted.
