Is it necessary to show the workings using Dr. cr. entries in consolidation question, because I usually get my answer right without using entries and rarely ever get it right with entries, are marks lost if i dont show the entry but show the logic behind my calculation if my answer is right?

I think, you don’t have to do DR and CR entries.YOU can use any other method for Working to get answers.As much as i know u don’t need dr cr entries any where in F7.But you have to show some working(any other method). you won’t loose any mark.
