Just trying to judge peoples views.
I have a masters in Finance. I am a part qualified accountant with ACCA.
My line manager is not as qualified as me, but is with another accounting body. My approach and methods appear to be in conflict with my line managers. I have now felt the need to do (from the very start) the same qualification that matches my line managers to try and gain their confidence. I actually resent this.
Without looking at any of the texts for many years i realised that i am not stupid. Its just a different approach.
Has anyone else struggled to gain the confidence of a member of another body?
