    IS ATX MOSTLY NUMERICAL LIKE TX OR DESRIPTIVE COULD YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN IT IN TERM OF % AS IN 50% NUMERICAL AND 50% DESCRIPTIVE.

    I’d say it is pretty much 50/50. However just like SBR the examiner can be pretty tough and question any part of the huge syllabus which can make it particularly challenging. I think this is a really interesting paper as it enables you to look at the full picture in terms of costing and tax planning.

    Adding to henry1acca’s very good answer, the questions will be more open-ended and you will have to use more professional judgement than with Taxation level questions. As well as analysing and advising on tax impact of particular scenarios, you might also be asked to consider other factors that would impact on your advice. Just as you would in real world scenarios. Hope this helps.
