Hi,
I got P2 (international stream) bpp study text and revision kit book relevant for 2011 examination from my friend.
Is both books relevant for 2012 exam as well or i need to buy a new one applicable for 2012 examination?
Substantially, but there are some differences. AND!!!! Those differences are very likely to be asked in June ( at least, that’s my tip / guess )
In particular, IFRSs 10, 11, 12 and 13!
There are others, but from what I can see, those are the biggies
As for the revision kit, the 2012 edition will not likely be vastly different. You just need to check that you update the 2011 edition with the exams since the edition was published – check the June 2011 exam – I doubt that it will be in the 2011 edition! – and nor will the December 2010 exam. So update your revision kit with those two downloaded exams

Regarding P2 revision kit, As per my knowledge from your reply is concerned you want me to use 2011 revision kit+June and December 2011+December 2010 question papers downloadable from acca site,

yeah u can use it but get fresh topic of IFRS 9 as it is very fav topic for recent and upcoming exams
Yes, ok, and IFRS 9. And articles from Student Accountant too from the last 2 years.
But, to be honest, there really is no substitute for the up-to-date material. In particular, the BPP revision kit from early 2011 was full of mistakes so make sure that the edition you have says “updated edition” or “amended edition” ( I can’t remember the exact words ) at the top of the front cover in a lighter shade of blue background
