i want to confirm , in an NPV question, when there is a statment given in question saying additional working capital investment is for example 750,000 , so should we add this investment in the row of initial investment or in the row of working capital ?
It doesn’t matter what row you show it in – the answer will be the same!!
I would show it as a separate row (because most likely there will be other working capital flows in later years).
thank you sir. i was just asking for the purpose of section C question as every seperate working has seperate marks, did not know what examiner expects.
Provided that you are using the correct figures then the marker will understand what you are doing and you will get the marks 🙂
