Inventory cost.
One of my client has received interest free bank loan for the purpose of merchandise business.
The bank has charged the client br 4.2m i.e about 28% of 15m as a profit share and the total loan i.e 19.2 will be settled within 3 years on equal installment basis @17% amortisation.
My question here, can we treat the total br 4.2m (bank profit share)as part of inventory cost or periodic expenses ? why?
Kind regards,
Alemayehu G.
