    Many thanks for the free lectures. i am finding your lectures very useful and helpful indeed.
    can i please ask. I bought exam kit for management accounting i am working on it very well so far with the help from your well explained lectures.

    in the earlier chapter you have mentioned that proving the EOQ AND EBQ ARE not on the syllabus however there has been times where they gave the EOQ AND EBQ. at times They are asking to calculate in particular the Co which is equivalent set up costs and order cost it self.

    i have ended up getting different answers numerous times. can you please explain to me how to re-arrange the formula.
    for example EOQ IS 250 square root of 2*500*co/1.5. calculate the order cost.

    my anwer is .
    250*250*2/3000=41.6666 can you please tell me weather that answer is correct or wrong.
    Again many thanks for your generosity this website is really really helpful for some-one who wants to get on with life by getting a decent career.

    You have asked this in the FA forum. I assume that you meant to ask in the MA forum because inventory control is not in the syllabus for Paper FA.

    250 = sq root ((2 x 500 x Co)/1.5)

    square both sides:

    250^2 = 62,500 = (2 x 500 x Co)/1.5

    Multiply both sides by 1.5

    93,750 = 1000 x Co

    Now you should be able to finish it off 🙂
