    Hi

Are the UK and international variant papers the same for F7?

I am planning to take the f7 UK paper in June 2014, can I use opentuition f7 materials?

Here’s a thought – why not compare December 2013 for both variants and see if you can find the differences? They are 95% the same (I believe) but you can confirm that for yourself

Personally I would do the Int version. The UK version is the same syllabus/exam except that up to 10 of the 100 marks can be taken from the extra UK syllabus. I didn’t find that the BPP or Kaplan books catered very well for the extra UK bit (BPP were exceptionally bad and I’m normally a die hard BPP fan). The vast majority of students in my exam hall in June 13 were sitting the Int version.

Ultimately, the UK syllabus is 10% larger but you get no extra credit for doing it so you may as well just do the Int version.

Do the International variants of this and Audit and Assurance. ACCA are withdrawing the UK variants of these papers anyway so do International

And about time too! The time that it has taken to reach that decision is quite extraordinary. It reminds me of that famous headline from a British newspaper “Fog in Channel. Continent isolated”
