I would like someone to help me plot employee groups ie marketing, finance, legal,HR,IT,Operations using mendelow’s power- interest matrix.

i guess that all of the departments including Marketing, finance, legal, HR, IT, Operations come under the broader ambit of employees related category of stakeholder.

As far as the Mendelow’s Matrix is concerned that, it addresses the stakeholders in relation to the stakeholders’ interest and power to influence the entity.

Thus, universally speaking the interest of all the employees is job security and hence, they would want that the entity continues its operations for future periods. Therefore, their interest in the entity is HIGH.

While as far as power is concerned with respect to these stakeholders, it is dependent from case to case. It could be high and it could be low. Like if the employees are organized through a Trade Union and are able to properly represent their concerns effectively in that case, the Power would be high while if they are not organized and dispersed then, their power would be LOW.

I hope that helps to answer your question..
