Hi
In my exam kit with Kaplan, I came across a question which mentioned internal/external proactive and reactive approaches to risk identification.
I can’t see any mention of this in the notes provided. Is it possible you could provide a brief explanation please?
Thank you
It is,just tje normal use of the words. Categorising the risks like this is of no help discovering them.
So a letter of complaint from a customer about a poor product is external and reactive.
Inspecting machinery is internal proactive.
Investigating an industrial injury is internal reactive
Asking a consultant to review a process for risks is external proactive.
Thanks Ken, much appreciated
