Hello.
There is a question by the name of Lagrag Co(Q63) on interest rate risk management in kaplan revision kit . We are asked to do a forward rate calculation although the calculation is not that difficult but Sir Joan Moffat i remembered you said that we can not be asked calculations on interest rate risk management only theory can be asked and i am wondering should i be prepared to encounter calculations on interest rate hedging or should i just focus on theory ? Any help would be appreciated .Thanks
You will not be asked to do calculations.
However it is useful to see the arithmetic simply because it then makes it a bit easier to explain the idea in a written part of a question.
