Sir I have watched lectures on interest risk management but The text book I am referring to right also talks about interest rate gap( gap exposure) which you haven’t mentioned in the lecture video. Sir can you kindly explain to me what it is?

Does your book not explain it?
It isn’t in the lectures because it has never been mentioned in the exam. It is the difference between the interest rate that banks charge to borrowers and the interest rate that the bank gives to depositors.
