Question in Revision Kit Q18 Multiplex part a) after calculating equity why we didn’t deduct payment before calculation interset (68708-6400) = 62304 *12%=7476 because its mention in question that interset is paid in arrears. As I know if interest in arrears we deduct paymnet from capital than on the balance result we calculat interset
as far as i know, we only deduct payment (rental) from capital if we paid it in advance, this will leve capital o/s, then we apply the effective interest rate given and added to the capital o/s to get the bal c/f for the second year. Look for ACCA technical published – 0ctober 2010
