Does Capitalising development Cost Means Showing the Amount Spent under development phase As a Separate Non Current Asset in SFP
OR Show the Amount as Actual Cost of an Asset developed after R&D under Non current asset Section….. For Example As Value Of Eight door CAR in SFP
The amount of the development cost (assuming that it fulfils the conditions) is shown as a separate item under the heading non-current assets (and is then amortised).
(Although appreciate that you cannot be asked to produce an SOFP in the exam.)
