Passed P2 with close 50 and P3 with 61, over the moon, I thought I completely messed up P2 as I couldn’t grasp some aspects, I must of performed on Q1 cos for Q3 and Q4 I waffled a bit.

Goes to show ACCA is what you put in most of the times, working and self study is hard but you reap the awards on day’s like this.

2 options left, started from F2 with no exemptions, I can finally see the light.

Well done and good luck to everyone πŸ™‚

    Passed with 60 !

After passing P5 also, im in shock – im now an affiliate !

Thought I would get P2, but fail miserably at P5. I read & posted on the post exams boards of OT extensively. And half way through the exam, I was convinced I didnt have a hope, and felt like just going home. Even after the exam, skimming over things, I didnt feel had done it. But I did !!

What do I do with my weekends now ?? Im stunned !

10 years its been a monkey on my back, taking exams when I could, passing & failing what seemed randomly. Gave up on them, travelled a bit, emigrated, and thought id give them one last shot, did 3 in Dec ’11 studying full time with Kaplan over the net , failed 2, then repeated with LSBF, and PASSED !!

The burden of taking exams, or guilt of skipping taking exams in a session, has been an unwanted bedfellow for so long I just dont know how to think now.

I got 64% through self-study which i am quite surprised by after how i thought the exam went. Opentuition has been very useful.

Praise be to me for all my hard work…

57% – first attempt, so pleased. Really did not want to sit this paper again. P3 in December, Tax in June then really can’t make up my mind which one to complete the set. At least I have another year to make the decision.

Its taken 5 years to this point (including a stretch of 18 months where I only passed one exam due to personal problems), so darn pleased with my progress, all self taught and a mature student – just could do with a qualified mentor. A lot of my work covers a lot of the practical stuff, but a mentor would be handy to sign it all off and ensure I’ve covered all the bases adequately.

Never say never – good luck to all other ACCA students, hope your journey’s a good one πŸ™‚
