50% pass, i expected much higher. Glad for the pass, but i answered every question. They must have been very stringent in the marking
I was also interested to see F9 with an overall pass level of 37%, thats pretty low for this paper. I did not think the paper was particularly challenging this time round
August 10, 2012 at 6:36 am #10312062 passed at first try, now getting ready for the P’s.

After my 3rd attempt im thankful i passed. Exactly 50, expected and hoped for more but im glad it is over with because last June after my 2nd attempt i felt discouraged and didnt want to continue.
To all those who failed please just put in more practice. it is hard especially for those working and studying like myself but you can do it. Do not be discouraged. Look at areas you know you are weak with, start with those, practise as much then move on. Time yourself too.
I did P1 and i passed for my first attempt…so grateful knowing I didnt even want to go to the exam the morning because I felt i wasnt prepared enough. I could hardly remember anything i had studied but thanks be to God. I feel more encouraged now. Those who got 70 and more, congrats, that’s very good!!!!

August 12, 2012 at 10:48 pm #103127FAILED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s my omten attempt, ACCA making big money. I did the paper after the exam with days that it was placed on the net – same as I did in the exam and make using the text book. The score was GOOD – 65%, but the real maker’s slaped me with 42. I started this paper back in 2004 – 2.4 and only mist (sit-out) 3 sitting. My grades normally fall in the bracket 40 – 49; with more 48 than anything else. I don’t if the markers expect me to give them word for word. I love the writting section, but it is not giving me any justice. Colleagues!!! Pray a special prayer for me so that I will not look back after December 2012 setting. This is slavery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fail this exam for the second time. First time I got 45, this time I got 33! My first reaction to that was “33 F-ing marks?! there’s a mistake there!” I know I messed up on question 4 but still, I can’t see how I only got 33 marks.
I decided to give the administration review a go. As anyone else will tell you, it’s not only a waste of time but a waste of money. Effectively they take £52 from you just to recount the marks. They don’t really give a good enough reason why they don’t provide a breakdown of the marks. They will tell you whether you got an overall pass or fail in each question, which is pretty useless when most questions span multiple topics! So all in all, not happy, can’t even satisfy myself the mark was justified (probably was but still) and just generally dishearten by ACCA. Oh well, December 2012 here I come!

August 16, 2012 at 10:16 pm #103133guys, just wanted to share something with you. ON 8th I got my resoults 48points and today (16th)I received an e-mail form ACCA saying:
As you may know ACCA offers an Administrative Review service which allows students to apply for an administrative check of their results if they feel that their results do not reflect their perceived performance in an exam and where they feel that ACCA’s quality controls have not been applied properly in arriving at their mark.As a result of this process an error has come to light in the calculation of your original mark for Paper F9 at the June 2012 exam session. The mark you achieved in this paper was 50% and not 48% as originally stated on the notification issued to you last week. This gives you a pass in this paper and your record will now be updated to reflect this change.
So I have passed OMG I am so happy.
August 17, 2012 at 4:41 am #103134f9 : mark 60
