wastage of a raw material during a manufacturing process is 20% of input quantity.
what input quantity of raw material is required per kg of output?
the answer is 1.25kg
i cant get the answer
If 100 kg is input, 20kg is wasted and there will be 80 kg of good output.
So, for 80 good output, 100 is input. Input must therefore be 25% more than output
80 + 25% x 80 = 100, or
100/80 = 1.25
