Hi john sir..guide me about he following plz:
Q#1. A manager has commissioned a report comaparing the profitablity and market share of services the company currently offera. Which of the following will the manger use the information for?
A. Controlling
B. Implementing
C. Decison making
D. Planning
Q.2 which of the following would be data rather than information?
A. Sales increase/decrease per product in last year
B. Total sales value per product
C. Sales made per salesman as a percentage of total sales.
D. Salesmen’s commision as a percentage of total sales.
Q.3. A company operates cost and financial accounts.
Which of the following accounts will not appear in the cost ledger?
A. Cost of sales account
B. Production overhead control account
C. Debtors control account
D. Work in progress control account
Q.4 which of the following is not part of purchasing system?
A. Purchase requisition
B. G.R.N
C. Dispatch note
D. Purchase invoice

Surely you have answers to these questions in the same book in which you found the questions!! (If not, then you should be using a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers – they contain exam standard questions together with answers and explanations).
1. C – they will use it to make decisions about whether to stop any of the services or whether to offer any new services.
2. D – presumably commission is a fixed percentage. The others need calculations in order to provide the information.
3. C – cost accounts are recording costs, not receivables
4. C – a despatch note is sent with goods going to customers.
