hi sir,
your assistance is highly appreciated.
how informal communication is important in an organization .what is advantage and purpose as it spread information of hidden tasks and future innovation information in an organization that is a big disadvantage.
Thanks.
Informal communication is inevitable and will happen irrespective of management’s preferences.
The main danger is that inaccurate rumours and gossip can quickly spread and do damage to the organisation.
There can be occasional advantages. For example, if your manager needed to reprimand you about a small problem you would probably prefer a quiet, informal discussion that the matter to be dealt with and recorded formally.
