    CHUCKLE (SEP/DEC2021) (Kaplan Kit 2022-23)
    Hi Sir,
In this question Chuckle initially owned 30% in Grin. Later on it acquired 18% more.
But it is also mentioned in the question that Chuckle queried share options in Grin exerciseable anytime after 31 March 20×7. It would also increase the ownership to 60% if the options are exercised.

How can we conclude that Grin is Chuckle’s associate as on 31 March x6 based on the assumption that it will be exercised?

    Thanks in advance

They don’t buy the options until 1 April. You are a day too early.

    🙂
