Stephen and Chan had a contract for the sale of goods between their respective countries. Chan arranged with a freight company for the shipment of goods and Stephen agreed to collect them from the port when they arrived.
When the ship arrived at destination, Stephen inspected the damaged goods and notified Chan that he refuses to pay for goods.Chan insists that as per incoterm Stephen bears all responsibility for goods once they are placed on the ship for export
What is the incoterm here?
Sir the answer for this in kaplan is Fob
But since seller arranges for the freight, shouldn’t it be cfr or cif
Krrish – when you send me a question, I need the FULL question
That is, I need not just the narrative but also the answer options!
Try me again with this one, please
Cfr
Fob
Fca
Exw
I think that the answer should be CFR
OK?
Thanks sir i also thought same
But kaplan says fob
Looks like kaplan has made some mistakes
Don’t we all? 🙂
Opentuition doesn’t 🙂
That is SO loyal of you, but I have to admit that, just very occasionally, even Opentuition has the odd lapse.
