I attempted BPP Mock Exam 1 MCQ 11, please help to explain why 1 will improve throughput?

Eric LamThere is sufficient time in process 1 and process 3 to be able to produce the maximum demand for X and Y.
However, process 2 would need 23.5 hours in order to produce maximum demand, but there are only 22 hours available. Therefore process 2 is the bottleneck and they will only be able to improve throughput (i.e. produce more) by making process 2 more efficient.
