Dear Sir,

I would like your kind opinion on the following topics : costing, contribution analysis, regression analysis, time series.

are these major portion sof the syllabus? Do I need to go through them in detail?

A friend of mine who sat the P3 paper maybe a year ago said the only calculation he is aware of in p3 is Ratio calculations. And this is quite true when you look at past papers ( at the least the ones which I went through)

I am confused as to how much attention I should pay for the above mentioned topics.
Kindly advice

Well, I foundon’t these without much trouble, so I would conclude that the F5 and F9 material in the syllabus is important.

D12 Q4 Decision tree
D13 Q2 Regression analysis and time series
D13 Q3 Contribution analysis
D14 Q4 Regression
J15 Q1 Expected values
SD 15 Specimen paper Q3 Variance analysis; activity based costing

Aha, No wonder I didn’t find any since I only practiced Questions from Section A so far .
I think your list will be a good place to start for question practice on F5/F9 material
